Building the Relationships

Relationships must be 50/50... What you bring to the table...like beats for example....As a lyricist without a beat I guess I'd be labeled a spoken word artist....Labels...Labels...Labels....In the beginning I felt like Zelda on a quest for beats....I had no money so the only exchange were my lyrics and delivery.....this led to albums worth of material over a 10 year span....Now the quest has grown to reach....Pick a market...Think outside the box...These are my thoughts...This is The Process...

The Process

The music keeps calling me....O.K. O.K... I hear it loudly... so I began to purchase it.....It started with the Kendrick Lamar album.... I figured after the mixtape the kid was official and I didn't want to miss out on anything that sounded like it had remnants of the Hip Hop I grew up on.... I was captivated by someone so young bringing it from the essence and being lyrical.....creative...original....
Then it happened again.... J Cole.... the album was on play for weeks and Kendrick was featured on a track.... I couldn't stop rocking to it....Jay-Z dropped and I thought oh boy has this been a great year... Wasn't really feeling Kanye but I let him be....then the Control verse from Kendrick the response from Papoose... and Drake dropped....but something was missing...I was doing so much listening and one night ....the rhymes started coming....the substance....
All these years of living caught up with me....these messages....everyday life scenarios....and simply unfinished business....The album that I set to release became ready to be made.....the other night I couldn't sleep....it was calling me....so I pulled out the track that Big St. Lou gave me back in 2010....Stay tuned....

Concept of the Day ...What the mind can Conceive ....and Believe.....it will Achieve....I got that from Napoleon Hill....its nothing new...just a refresher.....I remember how I was feeling when I started my blog...all I have done thus far is peck at it....continue to follow my journey and chime in when your decide to become more than a lurker...but only when you feel comfortable to do so....till then...carry on.....oh yeah lets do some catch up ...here is the video that is now a year old ....Magic....
